Mommy is sick ...

I got the flu on Sunday.  *ugh*.

I am still sick today.  *double ugh*

Although Eythen did ask if he could stay home from school today to take care of me.  He then asked if that meant he could play the Wii and his trains all day unless I need some Sprite.

What a thoughtful child I have.  *smile*

Why does ...

... it feel like the laundry and the dishes multiple faster than rabbits in my household?!?!?!

Black Friday Update ... *PART TWO*

Last time we left off ... I was updating you on how our Black Friday shopping was going ... and Clint was standing in line at Nebraska Furniture Mart at MIDNIGHT!!!  Need I remind you all that the store did not even open until SEVEN A.M.!  YES!  You read right!  SEVEN A.M.!

Clint had this mind sent of ... Ohh sweet electronic deals here I come!  Me on the other hand ... I had more of the mind set of ... No frickin way!!!  Sorry Sweet ass deals ... it is too frick-frackin cold out there.

So while my poor husband was standing in line with a bunch of strangers ...
who eventually became his NFMBFF's (AKA: Nebraska Furniture Mart Best Friends Forever) ... I was in the process for being the sole reason Black Friday had a slow computer connection.  Yes ... I was online shopping.  I apologize for any inconvience this may have caused to any of you out there in the weeeee hours of the Black Friday morning today.

Any ways ...

I NEVER in a MILLION years expected Clint to ACTUALLY score the "Door Buster Deals".  Shoot ... they only allow ONE per customer and only have a VERY SMALL amount of limited quanities for these really cheep deals.  When he was looking through the flyer pointing out the things we should "get" ... I never once said "No" or "We do not need that" or "The kids really do not need such a thing" or "Are you flippin crazy".  I just let him get into his little "electronic fantasty world" ... and I never even brought up a budget for the darn place.  I figured he would get there ... and the line would be wrapped around the building 99 times and he would come home.

Well ... the time began to tick away ... and Clint never showed back up ... like I thought he would.  So ... I called him.  He told me that he was not that far from the doors.   REALLY?!?!?!  I still did not truely believe him.  Deep down ... I still did not blink an eye about him picking up any electronics.  I had seen the way people pushed and shoved their ways in the front doors of Nebraska Furniture Mart on TV before. It literally looked like an hour glass ... and the people pushing and shoving their way in were the little pieces of sand ... dropping down to the bottom of the hour glass.  There was NO WAY Clint was gonna score any of the items on his "to get list".

Nope!

Not gonna happen!

Not in a million years!

*phone ringing*

Clint on the other end ...

He scored EVERY SINGLE THING on that darn list!

Hold on!

Back the truck up!

Everything?!?!?!

Yep!!!  EVERYTHING!!!

You could only imagine my face when he called me at 10:30 saying that he was in line at the loading zone to pick up the items he bought.

HUH?!!?!?

What items?!?!?!

He was suspose to be shoved around and pushed to the side and not even be able to find the things you wanted to get. So how in the WORLD did you score not 1 ... not 2 ... BUT 3 of the large door buster deals that everyone else and their dog was there for?!?!?

Yeah ... how you are picturing my face ... is exactly how I looked on the other end of the phone!!!

SHIT! I never talked about a budget!

My husband ... stood out in the freezing cold for SEVEN hours and lost feeling in his feet.  He helped some ladies along the way score some DVD players and helped some guy find a cheap lap top.  He got everything on "his list".  He then stood in line for another HOUR AN A HALF just waiting to get to a cash register.  Then once he got to a cash register ... it took him THIRTY MINUTES to finally get checked out because he just happened to get THE NEW GUY who had not been there very long and was screwing everything up!  THEN he waited another FOURTY FIVE minutes in the pick up zone ... to get all of the things that he bought.

So if you are counting ... that is a grand total of ... nearly 11 hours Clint was at Nebraska Furniture Mart.

When I asked him if he will he do it again next year?!?!?!

He quickly replied with ... Hell no!  Black Friday equals Death Friday.

So what did we learn today boys and girls?

1. Never ... EVER under estimate your husband when it comes to electronics.

2. If you are gonna stand in line for SEVEN hours ... always have a "buddy" with you for the moments that you have to go potty ... they can save your spot.

3. Clint left Nebraska Furniture Mart with something for each kid ... and himself.  Did you notice that he forgot someone?  Yeah ... me to.

4. My husband can make a friend NO MATTER where he goes. From standing in
line at the Red Box to standing in line on Black Friday in 20 degree weather at Nebraska Furniture Mart.

5. Some people are PSYCHO on Black Friday.

6. Never ... I mean EVVVVV-ER under estimate your husband when it comes to
electronics.

7. You stay nice and warm when you shop online.

8. Be sure to wear multiple pairs of socks ... when standing in line for 7 hours in 20 degree weather.

9. According to Clint ... Nebraska Furniture Mart was disguised as hell today.

10. Never ... NO MATTER WHAT ... NEVER under estimare your husband when it comes to electronics.

Good Bye Black Friday ...

That's right ... Black Friday came in like a lion and out like a lamb.  Well ... alright ... that saying does not really apply to Black Friday.

But ... Black Friday is offically D.O.N.E.  All the "anticipation" on what is gonna be one sale ... the ba-ZILLION ad flyers that come in Thursday's paper ... the BlackFriday.com that sends you updates as stores post adds ... and yes ... even the IPhone App that could be downloaded to your phone just incase you needed some last minute help ... is O.V.E.R.

*sigh of relief*

*anxiety level starting to go down*

Clint and I stuck to our "budget" ... for the most part.  Kind of.  Sort of.  We tried really hard.  Really we did!  I had a list!  I even carried the list with me the whole time.  THE WHOLE TIME!  I looked at it often.  I looked at it A WHOLE BUNCH!  But every darn time we went to go and pay ... the cashier was not telling us the dollar amount that I had "budget-ed" for those gifts.  So really ... it is the cashier's fault!

Unfortunately ... the kids might possibly have to live off of mac-n-cheese for the next few weeks to cover the "oh crap we spent more than we planned to".

Good thing is ... they like mac-n-cheese.

Bad thing is ... I wanna gag every time I think of it.

*gag*

So ... basically ... if you call us living off of mac-n-cheese to "cover our asses" ... then we TOTALLY did our job as parents and stuck to the budget!

*high five* to us being responsible parents in these hard economic times.

Merry Christmas children!

Good bye Black Friday ... see you again next year.  Well ... I will see you again.  I am not so sure Clinton is really a fan of you anymore.  Give him a few months to forget about the trama ... and he might have a change of heart in 365 day from now.  I would not hold my breath if I were you though.

comfy pajama pants are the bomb ...

Dear Comfy-$5-Black-Friday-door-buster-deal-pajama-pants from Old Navy:

You were the best thing that I invested into today.  *yawn*  You complete me ... and will hopefully help me slip into a debit-card-shock-coma in just a few shorts hours.

From an exhausted and totally drained Mommy/Wife that accompished all of her Black Friday goals.

Black Friday Update ... *PART ONE*

Just a little update at 1:30ish am on how our Black Friday is going so far ...

Me ... I got some AMAZING deals at GAP and Old Navy!  BOO-YA!!!  SCORE!!!  YIPEE SKIPPY!!!  HELL YAH!!!  WOOT WOOT!!!  Nothing like pajama pants for $5!!!  And yes ... in case you are wondering ... the Pajama Pants are for me.  But I did get some things for the kids ... and even got a couple of things for that awesome husband of mine.

OH YEAH ... I hit up The Children's Place online ... Thursday after lunch and got the kids each a complete outfit (multiple shirts, tights/leggings (no those are not for Eythen), jeans, skirts (yet again ... the denim skirts are not for Eythen) and cool shoes ... and did not even come close to spending a $100!  AHHH-MAZING sale I must say!!!

Clint ... on the other hand.  Well ... he left at MIDNIGHT to go and stand in line at Nebraska Furniture Mart. The doors do not even open up until SEVEN! I have a gut feeling that when he gets there ... the line will still be wrapped around the building multiple times. But ... he is certain he is getting there early enough in advance to score some of the MAJOR electronic sales that they have going on. The sales are really good I must say ... but when there are limited quanities and they only allow one item per customer ... you know that everyone and their dog-second cousin-1st grade teacher-neighbor down the road-and the crazy person you see talking to themselves walking down the street will ALL be there WAY before Clint even pulls into the parking lot.

But hey ... you gotta give him credit for attempting it! Most husbands volunteer to stay home and babysit while the wives go shopping on Black Friday. Not mine. The man means business when it comes to his electronics.

P.S. In case any of you are wondering if I am worried how much he will spend once he gets through the doors at Nebraska Furniture Mart. The answer is no ... I am not worried at all.  I deep down know that he is not even gonna come close to making it through the doors before all the "Door Busters" at 7am are long gone.

May the force be with you Clinton!

Black Friday ...

Money/Husband *check* - Shopping list *check* - Plan of attack *check* - Sweats *check* - Nike shoes *check* - Amazing neighbors to babysit *check* - Ability to flash a dirty look in 2.5 seconds to anyone that cuts me off, elbows me or grabs what I want *check*
All the basics anyone needs for Black Friday.
Peace Out Bitches!

Go and Vote ...

Have you voted for my blog recently?!?!

It is actually moving up the "Mommy Blog" ranks.

Click here to vote for my blog ...

P.S.  Thank you to all of you out there in cyber world ... that read my blog.  I hope our daily chaos brings a smile to your face.

On the "Eve" of Thanksgiving ...

... I am thankful that Clint has never left me for someone that can cook an amazing Thanksgiving turkey with all the trimmings to go along with it. He still loves me even if I did not inherit the "cooking gene" from my Mom ... and realizes that there might be a really good possibility we might end up at Burger King for dinner.

Family and friends ...

... are the root of all that is good in our lives ... and I am so grateful for mine.

Happy (early) Thanksgiving everyone!

Count your blessings ...

... and never take them for granite.

I love the ...

...innocence of my little kindergarten boy.  Nothing sweeter than in his mind ... a kiss from his Mommy will make a boo-boo all better.

AND ... ONLY a kiss from Mommy will work.  The Daddy kisses do not work on boo-boo's.

Harleigh requested ...

... that I make pizza for lunch today.  Not a problem!  Ingredients required: Phone, Menu and Debit Card.  Ohh I can smell it cooking already!!!

My Mom always said ...

... "You will understand when you have kids of your own."  Your right Mom ... as always.

Two things ...

... that a person is truely blessed to have:  A bestfriend and True love.  How lucky am I that I found both of these to things in the man that I married.  I love you, Clinton!  SO glad that you are FINALLY back home!!!

This evening as I was ...

... dropping the younger 2 off at Youth Group Eythen says:  "Wow Mom!  Look at that big spikey thing ontop of our church."  When I told him it was called a steeple he replied with: "Oh!  I knew that!  *15 second pause*  Do you think God minds if I still think it looks like a big spikey thing?"

My husband ...

... has made me laugh.  Wiped my tears.  Hugged me tight.  Watched me succeed.  Seen me fail.  Cheered me on.  Kept me going strong.  My husband is a promise from God that I will have a Friend Forever.

Get your game face on ...

My middle daughter, Harleigh, has never cared for sports.  And when I say never ... I mean since she was a wee little tike at 3 years old.

We attempted to put her in dance ... but she told us ... point blank ... that she would rather pretend to be a ballerina than go to class.

*waste of money*

We put her in soccer at the age of four ... she informed us multiple times that her feet get too tired when she ran.
She was more interested in singing "Head-Shoulders-Knees-and Toes" at the top of her lungs ... in the middle of a soccer game ... while she was standing in the middle of the field.
She even got so bored once ... when she was goalie ... that the next thing Clint and I knew... Harleigh is walking away from the net she is suspose to be guarding ... and picking dandilions.

*waste of money*

She would use the words, "Let's get out of here" anytime we took her to a KU football or basketball game.

*waste of money*

So ... when basketball season rolled around last month ... and it was time to sign Eythen up for basketball ... we were SHOCKED when Harleigh asked us if she could play basketball as well.

Clint and I reminded her that she would be running ... ALOT.

That no matter how tired her knees got ... or her feet hurt ... or her body wanted to sit down ... she still had to play.

The little turkey was all for it.  She wanted to give it a whirl and shoot some hoops.

YEAH HARLEIGH!

She is so very excited ... and I personally can not wait to see what comes out of the season.

Eythen is ALL "get your game face on" and competitive.  The kid HATES to loose!  HATES IT!   H.A.T.E.S. I.T.!!!  I saw him throwing elbows left and right the other night at basktball ... in hopes of keeping kids away from HIS basketball.  Clint would have been so darn proud ... me on the other hand had visions of him getting fouled out in the first 2 minutes of the game.

Harleigh ... she is the kind hearted sole of the family.  Not so much of a "get your game face on" type of kid.  More of a ... "Do you like my new basketball shoes" type of kid.  So ... this basketball season will be an eventful one for the Moore family.  One of my kids may get kicked out of the league for most fouls ever called on in one game ... and my other kid might wanna skip the game completely and go straight to the snack they are given at the end of each game.

P.S.  Last night, as Harleigh was leaving for basketball practice she said: "I am gonna score a lot of goals tonight!"  Uhhh ... wrong sport there, Harleigh. When I told it was "baskets" not "goals" ... she shrugged her shoulders and said: "it's all the same as long as it goes in."

When I woke up this morning ...

... I was shocked to see that my house was broken into.  They did not take anything ... just threw clothes on the floor, dropped shoes on the stairs, smeared food all over the dishes and left legos out on the counter.  I'd clean it up ... but you know ... evidence for the FBI.

Today I am thankful for ...

... the factor that Clint is out of town working ... and does not have to witness the vegetable soup that I attempted to make ... and failed miserably at.  I think I will spare the kid's gag reflex this evening ... and go to Dairy Queen for dinner in between gymnastics, basketball and hip hop class.

Bleach ...

*check* ... Windex *check* ... Scrubbing bubbles *check* ... Broom *check* ... Mop *check* ... Maid ??? MAID ??? MAAAAAAAAAAAID !!! Dang it ... so darn close.

I am way to tired ...

... to think of something funny or thought provoking to blog about.  Please amuse yourselves this evening.  Thank you and have a good night

Pro to Clint ...

... away working clear until Thanksgiving: I can put up my Christmas stuff and not hear him say "Really?!?!? This early, Jill?!?!?"
Con to Clint away working clear until Thanksgiving: I have to put the Christmas stuff up by myself.  Just imagine a girl whom is pushing 5' 1" attempting to put up/decorate an 8' tree. You do the math ...

Month to be thankful ...

With the past two years ... and everything Clint and I have been through ... I needed to bring myself back to the positive and remember everything in our lives that we have been blessed with.

So ... I decided to make a list of things that I am thankful for.

In no paticular order ...

1.  I was blessed with 3 of the most amazing children.  They keep me grounded, remind me to stop and smell the roses and to appreciate the little things in life.  Because of these three little people ... I laugh daily and learn something new from each of them.  I am thankful for Breeanna's nuturing spirit.  I am thankful for Harleigh's kind sole.  I am thankful for Eythen's love for life.  I am not sure what I did along the way ... to deserve such funny, beautiful, kind and down right awesome kids ... but there is not a day that goes by that I do not thank the man above for it.  Thank you God!

2.  I’ve made some mistakes in my life ... but one thing I did get right was marrying the coolest boy I ever met.  He is my very bestfriend.  He makes me smile when I want to cry.  He loves me for me ... even when I have PMS.  He is my #1 fan and loves me unconditionally.  He is still the reason I draw those silly hearts on my paper ... even after 10 years of marriage.  He works hard to provide for our family ... and never thinks twice about it.  He is amazing ... and I can honestly say that I love him more today than I did 10 years ago.  Our marriage is strong and we are a team.  Without him ... there would be no me.  Together ... him and I ... make perfect sense.

3.  When the batteries die in a noisy toy and they mysteriously disappear.

4.  Naps!  Awww!  I love a good 'ol nap.  I always have ... and I always will.  I must admit though ... there was nothing better than a "mid morning nap" during my college years.  Those naps were the best.  Unfortunately ... that normally meant I missed class (sorry Mom and Dad) ... but staying up EXTREMELY late while dancing (and perhaps drinking) at the bars ... and then getting up early to make it to class was tough.  *wink*

5.  A good bowl of potato soup.  Well ... let me repharse that.  A good bowl of my Mom's potato soup.

6.  HyVee bakery taking a last minute cake order for my daughters birthday.  I was CERTAIN I could pull off making a darn cake.  The photo in the magazine looked so simple.  I guess not ...

This was not the cake I attempted to make for the birthday party ...
this was just one of the many other attempts of me trying to "bake".

Which leads me to the next thing I am thankful for ...

7.  I am thankful that Clint has not left me for someone else that can cook.

8.  My children's school.  Eudora Elementary has the most amazing people in it.  From the custodian that saw me trying to carry ump-teen bags and boxes in for the PTO ... and came out to the parking lot to help me.  To my son's kindergarten teacher not pulling her hair out over the little nuts case of a son that I have.

9.  Dryer Sheets.  Not only do they prevent my laundry from electricuting me ... but I use them to wipe down Harleigh's head every time she is getting out of the car to walk into school.  Otherwise ... she would have hair standing on end by the end of the day.  Trust me.

10.  I am thankful for the factor that I did not have to pass College Alegebra in order to become a Mommy.  Otherwise ... I would still be trying to take that darn class.

11.  I am thankful for the most amazing family EVER!  My sister and I are so darn lucky to have the coolest Mom and Dad EVER.  Not to mention ... I am even more blessed to have the coolest sister EVER.  I would NOT be whom I am today ... without them.  From my Mom's ability to know just when I need a phone call ... to my Dad's ability to know what is wrong with my car when I deminstrate the "noise" it is making over the phone ... to my sister and I sharing the same stupid sense of humor.  I would be lost without them.  Even though were are all nutty every now and then ... they are my mixed bowl of nuts and I would not trade them for the world.

12.  I love my life ... though it is not perfect ... at least I am with the people that I love the most.

13.  My children have Grandparents, Aunts and Uncle's and God Parents ... that love them as much as I do ... and would do ANYTHING for them.  There are no words for a wonderful feeling like that.

14.  Dr. Pepper.  Clint has beer ... I have Dr. Pepper.

15.  KANSAS JAYHAWKS BASKETBALL ... enough said!!!

16.  Taco Bell ... enough said!!!

17.  Surviving the past two years.  Clint and I have had one thing after another thrown into our path over these past two years ... but what I can TRUELY say is that I am THANKFUL for our HEALTH, HAPPINESS and having a roof over our heads.

And trust me ... we wondered if we were gonna have a roof over our heads back in February of 2009 ... with the whole we sold our house-moved-the buyers (AKA: Mr. and Mrs. Roper ... and YES I am still a bit bitter with them.)backed out the day before closing-we move back 1 week later-they try to sue us for the earnest money-we can not take the crap anymore and give them back the earnest money-I cry awhole bunch-Clint moves ALOT of boxes AGAIN-our kids have no idea which place to call home-we live out of boxes for weeks upon end.  *sigh*

18.  Reality TV.  BUT ... only the cable net-work ones.  I would list all of the ones that I DVR ... but then you all would think I am even more nuts than you already do.  So ... we will just say that my DVR is set every night with 1 (or 2) (or 3) (possibly 4) (very seldom 5) reality tv shows to be recorded.

19.  Sonic ice.

20.  Sonic styraphome cup (even though it is not "eco-friendly" ... it still makes my Dr. Pepper taste so much better than a Casey's cup).

21.  Red straw from Sonic.

22.  Setting up my Christmas Decorations once Halloween is done.  Yes ... I am "one of those people" that set mine up way early.  But it just makes the house feel all cozy and warm with it set up.

Breeanna when she was 6 years old.
 23. Lip Gloss ... and lots of it.

24.  That Facebook is on 24/7.  I visit that place many many many many late nights when the husband is snoring so loud that Japan can hear him.

25.  Sweatpants.  Man those things are comfy!

26.  The color PINK!

27.  Hot PINK roses.  LOTS of HOT PINK ROSES!!!

Speaking of HOT PINK ROSES ... it sure would be nice to get some roses every now and then.  It has been awhile since my husband got me flowers.  I would annouce to the world, Clinton, just how long it has been since you even got me flowers ... but I won't do that.  There is no reason for me to tell anyone that it has been nearly two years since a live flower has crossed pathes with my hands ... and no ... the center pieces from Janet's wedding do not count, husband of mine.

28. My bestfriend Hilary. The only person that is allowed to go near my nightstand if something ever happens to me.

29.  Ugg boots ... Nike tennis shoes ... flip flops.

30.  Boxed Wine ... oh yeah!  We are totally classy in this house!

31.  Target.  I. Am. A. Target. Whore.

32.  Vitamins.  The whole vitamin world is a new found passion of mine.  If you have a problem ... google it ... and some vitamin will cure your problem.  Trust me!

Which leads me to the next thing I am thankful for ...

33.  Google!  Can't live withough it.  Although ... sometimes I need to avoid Google all together ... especially when I have convinced myself that I am dieing of some form of rare disease when all the while I just started off Googling coloring sheets for Thanksgiving to print off for the kids.

34.  Those "golden arches" on a Monday evening ... when I am driving back to Eudora ... after Harleigh just got done with gymnastics.  See ... on Monday nights I have 3 kids that are about to faint in the back seat because they are so hungry ... and I have exactly 30 minutes to get back home, feed them and get out the door so I can drop off Eythen at basketball practice.  Then I have to drive to the dance studio to drop Breeanna off for hip hop class ... drive back to pick up Eythen ... then drive back to pick up Breeanna.  So when those Golden Arches from the McDonald's sign start glowing in a distance on a Monday evening ... and the clouds part and the angels start to sing ... you better believe that I am thankful for McDonald's saving me the hassle of trying to cook dinner in the middle of all the chaos.

35.  I am thankful for the swimming pool having a cheep family pool pass in the summer.  Not only is it affordable ... but it gives my kids something to do for the afternoon ... and I do not have to hear "I'm bored" for about 3 hours.

36.  I am thankful that my parents no longer have dial up on their computer.  It took forever to even check my email when I went to visit.

37. I wish I could say that I am thankful for LOST ... but they took my show away.

38.  I am thankful for Rapid Release Tylenol on a day that I have a killer headache.

39.  A night at the Embassey Suites alone with Clint.  Yes ... I said alone.  Now move on.

40.  I am thankful that Eythen has his own TV and DVD player in his room ... so I do not have to watch Thomas the Train day in and day out ... each and every day.

41.  I am also thankful that Clint and I have a TV in our bedroom ... so I have a place to go when that darn football is on day in and day out ... each and every day.

42.  When Clint gets to work overtime.  Cha-Ching!

43.  I am thankful when gas is below $2.50.  Even though I would be even more thankful if we could get below $2.00.  Fat chance ... I know.

44.  Flipping my pillow over in the middle of the night ... and it is cold.  Awwww.

45.  The way Silver Jeans make my butt look AHHH-MAZING!  Every woman should at least try a pair on ... trust me ... you will walk out of the store with a bag in our hand ... and a pair of Silver Jeans in that bag.  AHHH-MAZING!!!

46.  If you know me at all ... you KNOW that I can NOT live without my hoodie's!!!  Once Fall hits ... my hoody sweatshirts come out.  I am so thankful for comfy hoodie's!

47.  I am TRUELY thankful for the chance to become a S.A.H.M.  It has been a life changing experience for me ... and I hope it has been the same for my kids as well.  From the moment I had Breeanna ... all I wanted was to stay at home and take care of her.  Unfortunately ... it was not in the cards for our family when we lived in Emporia.  But once Clint got offered a job out of town ... the "dream" was finally in reach.  I love each and every minute of it.  Are there days that I wanna pull my hair out ... sure.  Are there days that I feel unworthy because I do not bring home a paycheck ... sure.  Are there days that I miss adult conversation ... sure.  But the moment one of the kids smile at me ... or I hear a giggle ... or they hug me and tell me how much they love me ... or when they are sick I do not have to worry about calling into work ... or when they have a class party I do not have to take a vacation day ... or just simply sitting down with them and having lunch makes all the other "stresses" vanish.  I heart being a S.A.H.M.

48.  Text message ... how else am I suspose to let Clint know that he needs to turn down the tv when I am upstairs in bed?

49.  Chi Straighting Iron ... unfortunately mine broke about a month ago.  But I sure was thankful for that thing for the 5 years that I had it.

50.  My pretty pretty Yukon ...

Today while we were ...

... in the car, Harleigh and Eythen were playing with their DS.

Harleigh had Mario Kart ... Eythen wanted it.

After begging for the DS game (for the 483rd time) ... I told Eythen he could either wait his turn ... or download it to his DS and race against Harleigh.  I then added, "Take it or leave it".  Eythen responded with, "I will TAKE IT!  I have been trying to TELL you that I WANT that game, Mom.  See Harleigh.  Give it to me."

Not exactly what I was meaning little man ...

Monday, November 1, 2010

As I was tucking Eythen ...

... into bed this evening he said to me:  "Hey Mom.  I think I am gonna feel yucky tomorrow.  *15 second pause*  So does that mean I can stay up and watch cartoon since I can not go to school tomorrow?

PUH-LEASE ...

October 31st = Free Candy ...

November 1st = Kids asking every other hour if they can have a piece of candy ...

November 2nd = catching Clint in the kids candy.

Flash forward a few weeks from now ...

Me secretly wanting to throw away a hand full of candy here and there so I do not eat any of the candy AND so I do not have to hear, "PUH-LEASE can I have a piece of candy."
